Smart Recorder Tool: NOTE: Using SMART Recorder, you can also record your actions on the interactive screen, including your actions in programs other than SMART Notebook. With SMART Recorder, you can record a full screen, specified window or rectangular portion of the screen. If you connect a microphone to your computer, you can also record audio. Remember that Smart Recorder will save your file as a movie. Make sure you are directing your movie file to a location you can find.
*Page recorder vs. Page Recording in Notebook. Create an example of the Smart Recorder and save the wmv movie file to your TIDE Drive folder and then do a page recording inside of Notebook.
Recording a Page
The Page Recording options enable you to record your actions on the current page.To record a page
- If the Properties tab isn't visible, press Properties
- Press Page Recording.
- Press Start Recording.
A red circle appears in the upper left corner of the whiteboard area.- Perform the actions that you want to record on the current page.
- When you finish performing these actions, press Stop Recording.
A playback toolbar appears on the page.To play a page recording
- Display the page.
If the page includes a page recording, a playback toolbar appears on the page.To pause the recording
Press PauseTo stop the recording
Press StopTo remove a page recording
